pixelshifter (Scott Ritchie) is a curious digital all rounder and web designer based in Melbourne, Australia. All artworks created in his Prahran studio, using a range of tools and software, exploring form, colour, composition and texture.
Heavily inspired by nature in all its forms, mostly his practice involves setting up scenarios in code, software or 3D environments, applying variables or settings to yield unexpected results and examining the animated output to reveal the most aesthetically pleasing frames.
Each Large print edition has a limited print run of 10.
Medium sizes are open ended.

pixelshifter has teamed up with the great people at Format Printing & Framing here in Melbourne to ensure digital artworks are printed and framed to the highest of standards and delivered to your door with the highest level of care.
Digital art print comes with a Signed Certificate of Authenticity.
archival quality printing
pixelshifter’s digital prints are made on an inkjet printer. They are archival quality and guaranteed not to fade or bleed for up to 100 years. It is the industry standard in galleries and museums across the world. Each work is printed on the latest Epson P20070 printer using genuine Epson Ultrachrome Pro inks.
We print to a 310 gsm 100% smooth cotton rag as standard.
museum grade framing
Timber is locally sourced from sustainable sources. Using Victorian Ash and Tasmanian Oak, each frame is hand cut and carefully assembled by the Format team working from their Melbourne workshop.
The 3mm plexiglass used is museum grade. It is lighter than glass, helps to protect your work from UV damage and also has the added advantage of being shatter proof.
The back of the frame is finished with framer’s tape and stainless steel hanging wire.

shipping & delivery
We will have your new art work delivered to you in approximately 2 weeks, Australia-wide. Prices include shipping to anywhere in Australia.
All orders are shipped from the Format workshop in Richmond, Melbourne. The frame is bubble wrapped and shipped in custom made, double wall cardboard packaging using a courier service. All work is insured against loss or damage. You will be emailed your tracking number when your order has been dispatched (10-12 days after placing your order).
You can contact us directly to update a shipping address as long as your order has not been shipped. To change your delivery address after shipment you can contact the courier directly. The details will be included in the email you receive with your tracking number.
International orders can be placed (print only), and prints will be sent in a sturdy cardboard tube. Prices include Standard delivery using Australia Post to anywhere in the world. This includes SMS / Email tracking notification. Shipping times may vary, please email pixelshifter to arrange express delivery if required.
returns policy
Returns will only be accepted on products that are damaged on arrival.
All pieces are fully insured for damage. Though rare, from time to time it does happen. Please notify pixelshifter within 2 days of receiving your package so that I can submit a claim to the courier company. Please include photos of the damage to the frame and photos of the packaging.
